  About Us

Troop 333 was formed in 1994.  We are chartered by River Hills Community Church in Lake Wylie, South Carolina. We belong to the York District within the Palmetto Council.  Our new Scouts are typically drawn from Cub Scout Pack 333.  We also attract a large number of new Scouts who haven't participated in Cub Scouts

We are a Troop that loves adventure and goes camping every month.  Past trips have included Whitewater Rafting, Rock Climbing & Rappelling, Canoeing, Skiing, Backpacking, Kayaking, Caving, Winter/Snow Camping, and Boating.

Along with fun and adventure, we are also committed to serve our community.  We support numerous service projects throughout the year in partnership with various community organizations.  Fun, adventure, and service are what we do, but we grow through the development of our Scouts.  We live by the Scout Oath & Law as we nurture skills, earn advancement, and develop leadership.
The Goal is Eagle, the Journey is Fun.

There are approximately 70 registered Scouts in the Troop.  We have ten registered Assistant Scoutmasters and our Scoutmaster, Mr. Jack Scott, has been serving since 2006 as Scoutmaster and was Cubmaster of Pack 333 for years.

Our troop has graduated 39 Eagles since being formed.
